Building inspector showed up this afternoon. He’s better…it wasn’t terminal. Nice guy. Passed me, no problem. Said he loved the design of the kitchen - and bath. Very unique, never saw anything quite like it, he said - it looks ‘like in a magazine”. Then he asked who my designer was.
I didn’t brag. Too much.
On a whim, I ordered subscription opera tickets today for us! Four great operas, main floor, up front. I feel so decadent, I never ordered subscription tickets before — to anything. Can’t afford it, but what the hell! Anyone else doing the Thursday afternoon series next season at Lyric? If so, we’ll see you there!
