This little fellow was flying around the house. It took a while to catch it without harming it, to let it go outside. Didn’t think this picture would turn out. Beautiful creature!
Everything on the house is all finally coming together. The front walkway and landing/deck were finished by late yesterday. Overall, the construction of the platform only took me about four hours. The design and planning took a lot of thought, and therefore a lot more time, but once I had the basic idea, building it was easy.
The dining room is finished today, except that I still have to make the doors and drawers for the sideboard. Those will be very time consuming, and are shop work, so I’ll put that off for a few months until some of the other bigger jobs and “on site”details get done.
