Rick Warren, who the fuck do you think you are?!!  Where did you get idea that you were in any position to interrogate candidates for the presidency of the United States about their moral and religious attitudes?  You fucking self righteous, self promoting asshole!  And you, McCain, and you, Obama, kissing up to this pompous asshole!  You’re running for president for God’s sake (unintentional pun) - let’s not strip all the dignity away from the office…well, whatever dignity remains after BushCo leaves office.

Obama, you only have my vote now because the other guy is worse.  I’m not voting for you, I’m only voting against him.  And I’m thinking of not voting all together.  Barack, what you don’t seem to understand is how all this religion and Jesus stuff is a HUGE turn-off to a lot of Americans.  Maybe a bigger voting block than the evangelicals you’re kissing up to.

If there is no candidate I like, then the choice is basically between the lesser of two evils.  But when the two evils both turn out to be theocrats, I don’t care to make a choice at all.

I understand you have to counter all this “Obama is a Muslim” stuff - which is just too pathetic in its own right.  And by spouting off about your own Christian beliefs, you’ve maybe found a tool to counteract some of it.  It’s still pathetic.

And I’ll tell you Barack.  Personally, all this religion stuff in politics and government –  and now you joining in whole hog — it’s making me absolutely sick!

Amy and Naomi cut through the crap.

You have noticed, haven’t you, that the Star Spangled Banner ends with a question?

O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Maybe it’s not about the flag really, it’s about the other thing. And maybe patriotsim is not about waving or wearing a flag. If you have a little spare time today, think about it?

Barack, listen to Arianna, one smart lady!

Okay, Barack, you’re starting to lose some (a lot) of us who helped get you this far - and we’re not even at the convention yet!

We ain’t gonna vote Republican, but also sure ain’t gonna vote for a Democrat who’s starting to look like an evangelical. You’re starting to sound more and more like Huckabee or Romney! You’re making a lot of us not want to vote at all.

Are you that narrow-minded, ignorant, naive, short-sighted, what!??

Cut the religion in government crap!! It’s the wrong direction.

This is why Barack Obama needs to stay away from religion:

Once you enter that arena there’s only a narrow chance of escape. Obama may be very smart, but it would help if he was a little wiser.

He should be looking right now for a way to exit the Colosseum. The religious tigers are hungry for their meal.

I don’t like the fact that I’m already starting to worry about Barack Obama. Easy to let the little stuff go by, and I understand that politics sometime requires a little pandering and comprimise.

The first thing that disturbs me greatly is how Obama has been cozying up to religious conservatives, and how he not only does not take a very firm public position about keeping religion out of government, but has said that he sees a place for “faith” in government. Oh oh, not the direction we need to continue going! Very dangerous ground, that.

Then there’s his recent about-face on campaign finance. Maybe it’s practical and necessary, but it’s still a profound and surprising change in position.

An now his support for the so-called comprimise FISA bill. From someone who previously has been outspoken about strongly defending the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, this is very disturbing. More disturbing if he doesn’t actually understand what’s at stake.

Barack Obama is now our only real choice for the White House. But we’re going to have to keep a close eye on him. A very close eye.

Bush (and his surrogate, Cheney) made their agenda pretty clear from the start - and pretty much kept to it. If nothing else, they were consistent and easy to follow, moving forward in a kind of logical, but disastrous, progression.

Occasional changing of direction, even a radical change once in a while, would have been a good thing for the Bush administration. Change is good. But not constant radical change.

Are there already signs that Obama’s solid Progressive Liberal agenda is subject to radical change at any time…with seasonal changes in the political winds?

When it’s turned on, my radar is usually pretty reliable. I’m hoping that this time it’s haywire. But I’m a little worried.

Today’s Breaking News:

By Mindy Hicks, Washington correspondent.

The Bush administration claims weapons of mass destruction hidden somewhere on Mars.

The president said in a press conference this week “find the Martians and you’ll find the weapons…they’re hidden there somewhere”

Bush also said “this time we’ll get them, learning from our experience in finding Bin Laden…oops, we didn’t get him yet, did we? Well we will, after all I’m told by Dick and Condi that we’re having success in these new great wars. Just like in World War Two, we’re saving the world from democracy.”

Meanwhile, Joe Liebermann’s brain showed signs of functioning again and he may be an able running mate for John McCain in his bid to be the first president to have Alzheimer’s before taking office.

In further news, Hillary Clinton stated that she has learned her lesson and would vote against going to war with Mars unless the administration provided more evidence than they did before the Iraq war.

And finally, in a surprising statement, the administration says that Scott Mcclellan is not telling the truth.

Right now, watching a Bush press conference on C-Span.

My first impression: Bush is still an idiot.

My second impression: Bush is still an idiot.

My third impression: How could anyone have voted for this idiot?
